about
This piece is recorded in 432hz in a somewhat alternate tuning (drop D.) I use the finger style guitar method with accented harmonics and overtones. Overtones introduce polytones - which create the illusion of a bigger sound, when it was simply one guitar as instrumentation. Some say that the 432hz frequency is used to promote relaxation and healing and was the dominant frequency used by musicians before 1936 when 440hz was introduced.
The voice is meant to introduce a sense of purpose and direction to the piece - it is a reminder to return home to oneself.
My intention with creating this track was to create stillness in the midst of any outer reality. I hope the song welcomes you into an inner world where you are free and serene.
